Bulgarian Industrial Association (BIA) has a matrix structure with sectoral and regional organisations. There are 19 departments in the headquarter in Sofia. Member of BusinessEurope. BIA participates in the development and improvement of the regulatory framework, prepares analyses, studies and expert assessments in the field of the industrial policy and innovations, technological renovation, internationalization, tax and social policy. BIA supports the business community in globalization challenges: competitiveness, environment, resource efficiency, access to finance, development of knowledge-based economy, know-how transfer. The Vocational Education and Training Center at BIA was established in 1998 and is a nationally acknowledged, license holder, a training organization for carrying out activities for a professional qualification in full professions or parts of professions.

The International Economic Relations department in BIA has extensive experience in supporting the internationalisation of SMEs: searching and finding potential new foreign partners and new markets; marketing studies foreign markets, product and sector studies, market access; foreign trade and customs consultancy, analysis and information; organizing international meetings, business missions, corporate presentations, seminars, training and business forums. The department is the host of the Enterprise Europe Network (EEN). As part of EEN BIA experts provide specialized consulting services to SMEs and startups in the field of access to finance (identification of funding opportunities). The University of Deusto, founded in 1886 by the Society of Jesus, works in seven main areas: Business, Law, Psychology and Education, Theology, Social and Human Sciences, Engineering and Health Sciences, which was incorporated in September 2020. The objective of this academic centre is to develop, through a complete offer of studies, leaders who know how to integrate a professional vision, but also humanistic and ethical. In the top positions in Spain, with more than 1500 international students, the university has an increasingly significant presence in international rankings and encourages entrepreneurship, training in the company, through dual programs, and employability with internships for 100% of students.

​The Faculty of Engineering teaches a Degree in Industrial Design, a Master in Strategic Design and has a Fablab, so it has developed extensive experience in the field of design, both product and service. On the other hand, the same Faculty offers Degrees and Masters in Computer Science, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, Robotics and Electronics so there is a great knowledge accumulated in the area of information technology. Linked to the Faculty there is a Technological Institute where research and transfer linked to the above areas is carried out. Knowledge, Innovation and Strategies Management Club (KISMC), Bulgaria is a non-profit organization created by innovation and management experts, academicians, coaches and consultants to foster knowledge and innovation management in Bulgaria and support the innovation ecosystem in the region. KISMC and its members focus on the knowledge-based society to contribute in the fields of research, education and innovation in all aspects. KISMC provides training activities under the brand of Innovation Management Academy (IMA). It is a strategic partnership between academia and business to bridge to some extend the gap between education, research and business. IMA is a Certified Training Provider approved by the Global Innovation Management Institute to offer certified trainings in innovation management. Inqubator Leeuwarden has been active in the northern part of the Netherlands since its establishment as a foundation in 2010. The focus of Inqubator is on helping (student) start-ups to firmly establish their business and to help them maximize their growth over a maximum period of three years. To this end, Inqubator offers a shared room facility in which start-up entrepreneurs can work on their business plan, get advice on how they should proceed in the development of their business and follow different kinds of workshops and masterclasses. Most start-up entrepreneurs originate from the VET schools or Universities in the city of Leeuwarden, many of them in the creative sector and/or ICT. Inqubator Leeuwarden has also initiated IncubAI, the first business incubator in the Netherlands to focus exclusively on Artificial Intelligence and Data Science. The European Startup Network (ESN) is a Brussels-based NGO whose long-term vision is to ensure a unified voice for, and thus unified action on behalf of European startups and scaleups. ESN provides space for national startup associations to share best practices , and stays on top of key issues such as regulation on advanced technologies (AI, blockchain, etc.). ESN also takes concrete action to ensure that startups and scaleups have paths to scale, fostering access to funding, opportunities to share best practices, and the right connections with corporations looking to innovate and investors searching to expand their portfolios. Furthermore, ESN is in close contact with the European institutions to advise them on legislative developments affecting startups. Chamber of Craft and Small Business of Slovenia is an umbrella organisation comprising the craft and small business chamber system jointly with 62 regional chambers of craft and small business. It has more than 20,000 members. The key role in the Chamber is played by professional sections because they represent the foundation for linking craftsmen. The Chamber uses its efforts in Slovenia and Europe to improve the conditions for doing business in craft, micro, small and medium-sized enterprises. Craftsmen and their chamber have become an equal partner in the dialogue with the government and trade unions.

The present Chamber of Craft of Slovenia has been active more than 50 years. Besides representing and defending interest of craftsmen and entrepreneurs in front of government the chamber has developed a broad scale of different SME consulting services such as dissemination of SME policies, assistance to SMEs to develop their internationalisation capacity, provision of consulting services on different domestic and EU legal framework awareness campaigns on different topics: VET, eco, energy efficiency, RES. Since its establishment the Chamber has been playing an active role as an intermediary between the Slovenian enterprise community and policy-decision making arena.
